The Cenotaph at KensingtonDark and chilly, but warm with the friendship and camaraderie of those who rose early to attend the Dawn Service at the Kensington Cenotaph on Racecourse Road.

Led by the Scots piper,  members of the RSL joined with the cadets on the march from the branch to the cenotaph.  As well as Adam Bandt MLA, Danny Pearson, MP, Luke Creasey, Cr Nicole Marshall and members of Flemington Kensington Rotary, wreaths were laid by the 6th Melbourne Scout Group, local school children and adults.
This year, the nurses from all conflicts were honoured for their service, courage and commitment to the men of the armed forces in conflicts from the Boer War through to Afghanistan.

President of the Flem-Ken RSL Andrew Seymon led the service and welcomed all back to the clubrooms afterwards to see the refurbishments and enjoy breakfast.

Flemington Kensington Rotary was represented by President Lesley McCarthy, Allan Bruno, Len Seddon, Anne Heyes and Stella Hyde.
Lest we Forget!
