Wednesday 4th October found members of the Rotary Club of Flemington enjoying a full room as
District Governor Grant Hocking and Melissa. and Assistant Governor Ian Ada visited us.
Grant gave his presentation of the items of importance - membership and the new clubs coming into the District, the Rotary Foundation, the new interest groups and efforts to engage alumni; the District Conference.
He then showed a short promotional video for the Conference.
Grant also assisted President Lesley McCarthy with the induction of a new member.  Shraddha Sharma was a Charter President of the Rotaract Club of Thamel, Kathmandu, Nepal and has lived in Melbourne for 15 years.  She lives in Ascot Vale and her daughter attends Ascot Vale West PS.

We were also dellghted to welcome Craig Ondarchie, MP, the honourable Kapila Fonseka, Consul General for Sri Lanka, and Barb Champion from Play Australia who has been so very helpful to us with the playground project.
