Despite the weather, 100's of people gathered at the Djerring Hub to celebrate Eid Al Adja.
A decision was made to move most activities indoors due to the cold and wet conditions - a slight hiccup to the BBQ, but as the weather cleared, we moved to the outdoor facility and cooked away.
Many thanks to John Sklenar, Karolina Sevcikova, Jo Walker and her 2 granddaughters Ava and Tilda who did most of the cooking. We had some lovely young people assist with serving and had run out by 230pm.
It was a warm and joyous occasion where we were able to reconnect with so many friends.
